THAY Medical are honored to have a new addition to the family here in Europe! We welcome Alex Agis to the Human Factors team as our Lead Human Factors Engineer.Alex is delighted to be joining THAY Medical at this exciting time of the companies growth, leading the Human Factors team as it expands into Europe. Alex is a qualified Human Factors professional with an MSc in Ergonomics/Human Factors from Loughborough University, a BSc (Hons) in Psychology and a Design related BA (Hons). He brings a wealth of experience in the medical device sector (drug delivery, surgical, diagnostic and wound therapy) and has worked on projects globally as part of product entries in the U.S, E.U. and in Asian markets. His skills cover the full scope of the product development process covering Risk Analysis, Ethnographic Research , Expert Reviews, Concept Generation, Identification of Known Use-related Issues, Threshold Analysis and Comparative Use Studies and of course moderating Formative and Summative studies (which he is particularly skilled at) and preparing the accompanying documentation for regulatory bodies. He has a keen understanding of users perceptual and cognitive interactions with a user interface, how these can lead to use errors and how usability influences design.THAY Medical’s Managing Director and Principle Greg Thay stated "We are all excited to have Alex join us to lead the Human Factors team and enhance the expertise we can offer to our customers world-wide.
